Full Moon Magic
Welcome to Transition Day.
The Full Moon at 5:02pm PDT/8:02pm EDT at 23 Libra marks the end of the eclipse time. Venus goes direct forty minutes later, marking the end of the personal retrogrades that started when Mars went retrograde in early December.
How are you?
Most of us are not in a prison in El Salvador. Most of us still have our jobs. Most of us have not been scammed out of our life savings. Most of us are okay. Yet, the chaos that has ensued during this window of time (Nov - now) has most of us seeing the world differently and feeling a tad bit concerned.
The last four months have not been good times to start things. I warned about trying to push things ahead too fast. The US has done just that. We have started a bunch of things and started them hapharzardly, abruptly, and awkwardly. These things are not likely to last. They are likely to be reversed, ineffective, and achieve things unintended. It doesn’t mean that the new policies won’t mess with us and the world. They are and they will.
The first potential future that I cover in my book, Persephone’s Revolution, is collapse. When empires greatly expand during Pluto out-of-bounds North, a rectification happens during Pluto out-of-bounds South, whether that is revolution and collapse like in the cycle of 1619 - 1863, when King Louis XIV reigned during the North time and the French Revolution broke out during the South time, or whether it is Reformation like in the cycle of 1373 - 1619, when Cosimo de Medici took over the Vatican Bank during Pluto out-of-bounds North and Martin Luther stirred up the opposition during South. Or whether it is major collapse like during the Bronze Age when Ramses II instigated the Battle of Qadesh (Kadesh) during North and all the major empires (Egypt, the Hittite Empire, the Assyrian Empire) fell during South.
The current adminstation of the US seems hell bent on dismantling the government and heading us into collapse. In our current system of corporate and individual greed, “hedge” funds have been designed to benefit from collapse, and a lot of greedy a-holes are psyched to take advantage of what is coming. I doubt it will actually work to their benefit. They aren’t thinking clearly. The astrology of their timing is all off.
However, from April 28 to July 17, all systems are go. No gnarly retrogrades. No eclipses. No particularly difficult transits. Saturn does move into Aries on May 25/26 and Mars has one more pass opposing Pluto from April 19 to May 3, but these transits help us move forward. This will be a good time to initiate new programs. What we do in that time has lasting potential. It is time to make your move, look for new work, start your new business, and launch your new project. We will also need to pay attention to the things started by governments. New accords, new peace treaties, new economic treaties are likely to be very important going forward.
One of the things I have been suggesting for years is that you find something that you do or make that will be valuable for trade. If you have a garden, learn to grow something really well. If you can fix things, become knowledgeable in one particular thing. If you are a healer or community organizer or artist or something that directly supports your local community, get good at it. It isn’t so much that you will lose your job and need to grow beets in your backyard. It is more that the energy you put into getting good at your trade is energy that you put into the Awakening. That energy then directs your attention away from fear and trauma.
Over the next two weeks, with the waning moon, get some rest and take time to get organized. This is a good window to buy supplies—things you want to last for the next ten years. Things like shoes, glasses, gardening tools, other tools, electonics, supplies for your trade, camping equipment. I’m not talking about food or toilet paper or hoarding stuff. Just things that will last for a long time.
From New Moon August 23 to the New Moon Nov 20, another window of significant shifting ensues. This one is even more significant than the one we just went through. That one includes Pluto out-of-bounds (Sep 11 to Nov 9), an eclipse conjunct Saturn and Neptune who both just moved back into Pisces. It is another window of dismantling and change—-but very different than what we just went through. September brings real change and the real beginning of the revolution.
