A dip into the transits of 2025 - 2026

For the most part, I try to keep the making of the sausage out of my writing. It gets technical and I usually loose people. But this is a new day, and people are more and more educated in astrology.

So here is my best attempt at the details.

First, Pluto goes out-of-bounds in Sept 2025 and only for a few months. From 2025 to 2035, Pluto will go out-of-bounds each year, but for only a few months each year. This can be a saving grace of this time. The peak of Pluto out-of-bounds will be Oct. 6–16, 2030 (23° S 48').

Here are the exact dates:

Sep 11–Nov 9, 2025; Aug 21–Dec 1, 2026; Aug 10–Dec 13, 2027; Aug 4–Dec 17, 2028; Aug 2–Dec 21, 2029; Aug 4–Dec 20, 2030; Aug 7–Dec 16, 2031; Aug 13–Dec 12, 2032; Aug 22–Dec 4, 2033; Sep 4–Nov 23, 2034; Sep 25–Nov 3, 2035.

When I say that I think the revolution begins with a whisper in the spring of 2025, that is because of other transits that coincide with Pluto OOB, mostly Neptune moving into Aries, and Uranus moving into Gemini.

Neptune and Pluto have a 3/2 harmonic orbital relationship. In other words, Neptune goes around the Sun three times for Pluto’s two times. This is a perfect synchronization. Every time Neptune moves into Aries, tracking the last 1000 years, it does so when Pluto is either out-of-bounds north, out-of-bounds south, or at zero declination moving from south to north. Neptune at the Aries Point (zero degrees of Aries) correlates with Pluto out-of-bounds times that are particularly potent.

Uranus has an 84-year cycle and Neptune has a 165-year cycle, and 165 divided by 84 is 1.96, very close to 2. This means that for every one cycle of Neptune, Uranus goes around two times, and for every one cycle of Pluto, Uranus goes around three times. This harmonic relationship means that for the past thousand years, whenever Neptune moved into Aries, Uranus moved into Gemini (give or take a margin of error of .5%), and Pluto was either at 0 declination or at its peak of declination.

During this spring and summer, not only will Neptune dip into Aries and Uranus dip into Gemini, Saturn synchronizes with both by moving into Aries at the same time. Saturn takes 29.5 years to get around the Sun. Saturn and Neptune conjunct about every 36 years, give or take a year. The last time Saturn and Neptune were conjunct in 1989, Pluto was at zero degrees declination north to south. Saturn and Neptune conjunct about seven times within one Pluto cycle.

The linking of Pluto, Neptune, and Uranus is a given, because of their orbits. Saturn moving into Aries at the same time is an interesting synchonization, bringing its dim light to the situation.

• Neptune moves into Aries on Mar. 30, 2025, moves back into Pisces on Oct 22, 2025, and then into Aries on Jan 26, 2026, where it stays until 2038.

• Uranus moves into Gemini on Jul 7, 2025, then back into Taurus on Nov 8, 2025, then into Gemini on Apr 26, 2026 where it stays until 2032.

• Saturn moves into Aries on May 25, 2025, moves back into Pisces on Sep 1, 2025, and then into Aries again on Feb 14, 2026, where it stays until 2028.

• Saturn conjuncts Neptune Feb 20, 2026 at 00 Aries 43’, but it is within 5 degrees of the conjunction starting in April 2025.

Pluto, Neptune, and Uranus, are invisible, and Saturn is the dimmest of the visible ones. These planets operate in the shadows and their transits take time. As astrologers, we look to triggers for the actual events that will happen on Earth connected to these outer planet transits. While a Pluto transit exact on the day may very well be an event in our life, and Saturn conjunct the Moon is notorious for loss of a parent or grandparent, like my dad did, to the day (check out Sade Sati in Vedic astrology), most outer planet transits require a trigger, a visible and bright planet hitting the point of the outer planet transit.

When Venus goes retrograde from Mar 2 - Apr 13, 2025, it will do so going back and forth over the Aries Point (zero Aries). It will be during the eclipse time, Lunar on Mar 14, 2025 (24 Virgo/Pisces), and Solar on Mar 29, 2025 (9 Aries). These eclipses will be at almost the same points at which Venus is stationing, both retrograde (11 Aries) and direct (25 Pisces). This is an inner planet trigger to the Saturn-Neptune conjunction. Venus is a very bright planet and brings in the light. It will be at the Aries Point on Feb 4-5, 2025, Mar 27-28, 2025, and Apr 29, 2025.

Note that at the end of March, there is an eclipse at 10 Aries while Venus conjuncts Neptune at the Aries point. These triggers are the whisper that begins the ideas of the revolution, that is more likely to begin unfolding in the fall of 2025, and then in 2026.

The Aries point is at the mid-point of the Uranus-Pluto trine that is happening over the summer of 2025. The Uranus-Pluto trine, with Neptune-Saturn conjunction at the mid-point is most exact in Jun to Sep 2025, or at least it is most interesting. These transits help us initiate the process of moving into our movement.

There will be a lot of talk of Pluto out-of-bounds and Uranus into Gemini both of which also happened during WWII. The last time Neptune went into Aries was during the US Civil War. This is going to lead to a lot of talk of war. Naturally. And I cannot discount war as a possibility. It is already happening. However, Pluto out-of-bounds south is a vastly different kind of unrest. Pluto OOB North is a time of dictators, tyrants, and conquerors (WWII, Spanish War of Succession, Louis XIV, Peter the Great, Genghis Khan, Augustus Caesar, Tiglath-Pilisar III, Mehmed II, Darius I, and Count Vlad). Pluto OOB South is a time of revolutions, collapse, and the ending of empires like the American and French Revolutions, the Reformation, the last Crusade, the fall of the Tang Empire, and the collapse of the Bronz Age. Tyrants going into Pluto OOB South usually fall and a more benevloent ruler steps in or the empire falls.

Since Pluto does not go OOB until next September, this US election is the tyrant that predates the fall. By next fall, a US empire collapse will be visible. What does this mean? What does it look like when an empire falls? Does it fracture into 50 pieces? Does it fracture even more? Does it fall along the lines of unrest in the past, aka US Civil War? What resources and luxuries will we do without? How does the unrest impact us personally? Are there safe places to go? Can it be a peaceful collapse? Can it be fun? (Why not?)

I think we can make this what we want to make it . . . at this point. We can envision a collapse of empire that benefits us and those around us, all over the world. Think how the last crusade was the end of the crusades, the collapse of the crusading empire, not so bad. The Reformation was a revolution for religious freedom. Not so bad. And think of all the enlightment thinkers that went into envisioning the United States. That is what we are in now—the last few months before the muskets came out. Let’s think about what we want to create together and leave the muskets at home.
