Neptune into Aries
it’s not the war you think!
I hear that some astrologers, tracking Neptune into Aries, are offering some pretty scary predictions. It is understandable, since the last time Neptune moved into Aries was in 1861, at the beginning of the US Civil War. It is easy to get on the Civil War train, since that is a popular topic of conversation on social media at this time. Going back further into the past, Neptune moved into Aries in 1698, 1533, 1370, 1206 . . . . and on and on. 1698 was the Glorious Revolution, which was neither glorious nor a revolution, but an invasion by William of Orange and his troops. 1533 was the peak time of the Reformation and the time Pizarro was invading the Inca Nation. 1206 was the crusades and Genghis Khan time. I can see why war is predicted. Aries, ruled by Mars, is known for impulsive knee-jerk responses and the call to arms.
However, I have another take on the situation.
As the bulk of my research has been focused on Pluto as it moves through declination (the planet’s movement above and below the equatorial plane), I am always watching for dates and times that correlate with Pluto as at crosses the equatorial plane (Vision and Justice times) and when it reaches its most extreme point to the north (Power) and the south (Reform). As I have already spoken and written much about this cycle, allow me to leap from there.
This Pluto cycle cannot possibly be as significant as I have observed it to be without it coinciding with other celestial events. It is as if Pluto is just one beacon in a long line of beacons pointing to the ineffable brilliance of our universe and an upcoming time of radical change.
Our solar system, like all solar systems I imagine, is a well-oiled, perfectly synchronic, symphony of moving parts, called celestial resonances.
One of these celestial resonances is the mean motion resonance between Neptune and Pluto. For every two times that Pluto revolves around the Sun, Neptune goes around three times. This is a 3/2 resonance of Neptune/Pluto. It is extremely precise. Pluto takes 247.9 years to get around. Neptune takes 164.8 years to get around. 247.9/164.8 = 1.504
Due to this 3/2 relationship, every time Neptune moves into Aries, thereby beginning a new Neptune cycle, it coincides with Pluto being at the Vision, Power or Reform points. With Pluto’s elongated orbit, it skips the Justice point. Make of that what you will, maybe Pluto just doesn’t like Justice.
Another orbital resonance is that Uranus goes around two times (84.02 years) for every one time of Neptune (164.8 years). 164.8/84.02 = 1.96. This is not as precise, but it is close. That means that every time Neptune moves into Aries, Uranus moves into Gemini at the same time, at least for the past few centuries. Uranus gradually moves off as 1.96 is not exactly 2.
What is important to note about this, is that Neptune’s entire cycle that begins with its movement into Aries is different depending on where Pluto is at the time. In other words, Neptune moving into Aries while Pluto is at Power is a different 165 years following, than when Neptune moves into Aries when Pluto is at the Vision point.
Pluto at Power/Neptune into Aries: Invasion
These Neptune cycles 713 - 878, 1206 – 1370, and 1697 - 1861, began when Pluto was at the Power time. These were times of large-scale invasions and the expansion of empires.
713 - 877 from Charles Martel to the
1206 - 1370 Genghis Khan and the Crusades in 1206 to the Black Plague
1697 - 1860 from King Louis XIV to Napoleon III, the last monarch are France; from Peter the Great through Catherine the Great in Russia; from William of Orange to Queen Victoria in England.
Take the 1206 – 1370 time period. Genghis Khan invaded more land than any other conqueror in history. At the same exact window, the Catholic crusaders did there worst damage in France and along the roads to the Middle East. Also included in this cycle was the Black Plague that took near half the population of Europe. Both the massive devastation of war and plague showed the dark powers of Pluto at the Power time combined with the beginning of a Neptune cycle.
The cycle of 1697 – 1861 included much of the expansion of Russia extending from Peter through Catherine’s time. It began with Newton and ended with Maxwell. It began with Locke and ended with Marx. It was a time when the colonization of India, Africa, and much of Asia succeeded through the first major international corporation, the East India Company, which went bankrupt and was taken over by the British government as this Neptune cycle was ending.
Pluto at Vision/Neptune at Aries: Renaissance
Neptune moved into Aries while Pluto was at the Vision time and initiated Neptune cycles of renaissance times.
102 BCE - 61 CE from Cicero through the building of the Roman Empire
388 - 552 from Augustine through the Fall of the Western Roman Empire
879 - 1043 from al-Battani to al-Biruni, a peak time in the Islamic Renaissance
1370 - 1532 from Petrarca to Michelangelo, a peak time in the Italian Renaissance
1861 - 2025 from Maxwell’s equations to cell phones a peak time in what will be called by historians as the Technological Renaissance or even the American Renaissance.
From 1370 to 1533, many of the great works of art of the Italian Renaissance were created, including all of the works of Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Brunelleschi, and Botticelli, and most of the works of Michelangelo who died in 1564.
The cycle that began with al-Battani was a time often called the Islamic renaissance or the Golden Age of Islam or the Arabian Golden Age. Call it what you will, in Arabia and Persia and throughout the Middle East, the caliphates and rulers supported the arts and education, bringing in a time when algebra, chemistry, medicine, and the arts thrived. If we grew up in those lands, the names I would list would be as familiar as Michelangelo, like al Haytham (father of optics), Ibn Sina (alchemist who wrote The Canon of Medicine), Al Razi (physician who discovered kerosene and healing properties of alcohol), al-Zahrawi (father of surgery).
During the Neptune cycle that Augustine of Hippo, a Catholic scholar and saint, started (388 – 553), the Roman Empire was in decline. Civil War was also the beginning of this cycle which saw the fall of the Western Roman Empire and the rise of the Byzantine Empire and the great mosaics and architecture that went with it.
In our current Pluto cycle (1861 – 2110), alongside the Neptune cycle (1861 – 2025) Neptune moved into Aries in 1861 while Pluto was at the Vision, bringing in a time of extraordinary invention, from the telegraph to cellphones, from carts to self-driving cars, from a pipe dream of flying to planes to unmanned drones, and from the first equations of electricity to computers and AI. In these cycles, a time of great creativity and inspiration generated from the correlation of the Neptune and Pluto cycles beginning at the same time. We may historically refer to this time as the American Renaissance. Consider that most of the artistic trends of this time originated in the inner cities of L.A. and N.Y. including hip hop, rap, break-dancing, and every other music and dance trend. Consider that what this time will be known for will be cinema—and the heart of cinema, Los Angeles. Consider that while the world has gone through two significant world wars, neither touched the mainland U.S.A. The burning of L.A. and the end of this Neptune cycle marks the end of the American Renaissance, and the beginning of a new era.
Pluto at Reform/Neptune at Aries: Spiritual Awakenings
Neptune is moving into Aries starting in 2025/2026 alongside Pluto out-of-bounds at the Reform stage. Past times when this has happened are:
1533 - 1697 (the Reformation, reform of Christianity, scientific paradigm shift—Copernicus to Newton)
1043 - 1205 (moveable type in China alongside an attempted reform towards Confucianism)
551 - 712 (Justinian, reform of legal system)
61 - 226 (Peter and Paul, reform of paganism)
We more aptly refer to these particular Neptune cycles for insight into the next 165 years.
The last time Neptune moved into Aries with Pluto at Reform was in 1533, with a cycle that ended in 1697. It was in 1533 that Henry VIII, King of England, formed the Reformation Parliament, thereby splitting England from the Catholic Church. From that split, Protestant sects unfolded and colonized the lands across the Atlantic. Spanish conquerors were already in the New World in 1533, but it was in 1533 that Pizarro executed the Incan emperor, Atahualpa, cementing the Spanish invasion into the continent. It was also in these years of the 1430s that Copernicus was working on his theory that the Sun was in the center of the solar system.
From 1533 to 1700, the crazy concept of freedom of religion was just getting started. In fact, this cycle began with almost all Europeans believing whatever the priests told them to believe, including superstitions about witches, that the Earth was at the center of the solar system and that you could pay to be absolved of sin. At the end of this cycle, Copernicus’s work was fully excepted through the support of Galileo and other scientists, the last witch was executed (1697, Scotland) and Newton and the Royal Society were moving England away from religion and into science.
The Neptune Aries/Pluto Reform cycles of Justinian and Peter and Paul are also germane to our time. The Neptune cycle of 61 – 225 started with the radical Christian movement that was inspiring people to have more compassion and break free from the Roman dogmas and Judaic strongholds. By 225, Christian uprisings and martyrs had spread the word throughout Europe. In the cycle that began with Justinian (551 – 715), the Byzantine Empire established itself during this cycle as a Christian nation with code of law developed by Justinian. These spiritual Neptune cycles brought about reforms of law and religion.
Whats Coming: Neptune into Aries/Pluto at Reform 2025 – 2035
As we look back in order to look ahead, a time of great change is coming. The power players in the world are about to go through a reckoning. Just like in 1533, when the all-powerful Catholic Church got taken down a notch when Luther, Calvin, and Zwingli had started the Reformation and new leaders inspired people to think outside of the box. A hunger for new lands, for travel to foreign places, and for a new science that took humans out of the center of the universe and into being part of a giant cosmos, is not unlike what is happening now.
Instead of new lands, this reformation is one of new dimensions, understanding our trauma from new inner terrains. It is a time of awakening into understanding our place in space and beyond. Space travel and communication with other beings on other orbs is opening up. This can only happen within a certain consciousness. Those who are narrow-minded or are trying to control their life experience or are focused on greed, hatred, or envy will miss the great opportunity of this moment. This new alignment from within moves us to receive new information about what is life, what is truth, and what is our true purpose.
After a renaissance comes the reformation. This reformation will be global. This is not just one country dominating the wealth, creativity, and power of the world. This is an active participative reformation of citizens all over the world uniting against the oligarchs, the patriarchs, and the plutocrats. This is the last reformation and the last time we need to do this. The change will be total. It may require the entire 165 years for it to be total, but the next 10 years are critical. The movements are starting now, in whispers, behind the scenes.
When Neptune moves into Aries during a Solar Eclipse on March 29/30, while conjunct Venus, the new revolution—-a re”lov” ution—awakens hope and possibility for us all.
