Mars Direct! Transition Week.

February 24 to March 1

Mars direct! Feb 23rd at 6pm PST/9pm EST. Can you feel it? A bit of extra movement. A bit of inspiration. The release of an almost imperceptible block (or a completely perceptible block). A little less fear. A bit of freedom.

Transition Time: Feb 27 to Mar 1

In between the Mars retrograde and the Venus retrograde, we are standing still and filled with possibility. Both Mars and Venus are changing directions, moving as slow as they possibly can. Mars at 17 Cancer and Venus at 9 Aries, making a long distance pass, no true angle to speak of—yet, the timing is particularly interesting. It is as if Mars wanted to retrograde all the way back into the square (to 9 Cancer), to push Venus out of the nest, but it was too far gone to go all the way back. And so, we just need to sit with “what is done is done”. Now let’s move on.

A Peak at Phase 3:

Venus Retrograde Mar 1st at 4:36pm PST/7:36pm EST to Apr 12th at 6:02pm PDT/9:02 EDT

Venus, unencumbered by a square from Mars, retreats to meet the two sacred planets of Saturn (Apr 7) and Neptune (Mar 27). This allows us to begin to see the larger transition that is happening. Plus, Venus retreats back into a trine, a harmonious relationship with Mars (Mar 28 to Apr 19) while Venus is stationing direct. These two lovers don’t wanna fight. They wanna get along. They want to find a way forward in harmony. Venus pushes the agenda. (I think you get the metaphor—Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus, All Genders going beyond Gender are from Mercury)

We are finding new ways of working together, new common grounds, and deeper communication with the planet, with other planets, and with spirit. As the planet awakens, old pathways of telepathy, conscious ritual, sacred geometry, and loving kindness, pathways lost, return to us. This is Phase 3, and it is time of remembering.

Back to the Transition: Feb 23 to Mar 1

So in this transition time, get your house in order. Pay your bills. Get organized. Sign contracts. Take care of business. Prepare for a 40-day time of deep remembering. For you this might mean an inward time. It could also mean a time to do something sacred with others—dance, meditate, gather for movement. Keep the next two months fluid—plans that can be changed, intentions that do not bind you, free-time, and space to flow with synchronicity.

Also, this week, feel things. Feel the energy shift. Watch for signs. Notice what inspires you. Notice who is reaching out and why. Notice where the movement is happening in your life. Take notes. These things are likely seeds coming to fruition as early as this May, probably some time before September.

Until Feb 27, we are in a balsamic moon time, a dark moon time (the last two days of the lunar cycle). This is a time to finish stuff. Clear stuff. Unwind. Keep intentions and creative projects to yourself or share in sacred space. Protect your energy.

New Moon Feb 27 at 4:45pm PST/7:45pm EST at 9 Pis 41’.

This New Moon sets the stage for the month ahead. Set intentions. The Sabian symbol is “an aviator pursues a journey, flying through ground-obscuring clouds”. Yes—with Saturn at the end of Pisces close to Neptune in Pisces conjunct a Lunar Eclipse in Pisces, there is a lot of Piscean energy, and ground-obscuring clouds are likely. But consider that the symbol says nothing about sky-obscuring clouds. In other words, the sky is clear and bright where we are flying. What is happening below is obscured. Remain true to your own journey. Hover above the clouds. Keep your sights on inspiration, on spiritual endeavors, on dreams, and flying high. If you feel yourself dipping into the clouds, remember that your path at this time is to rise above. Rise above. Rise above. Flying through clouds brings turbulence, a bumpy ride, and if it isn’t time to land (which it isn’t), what is the point? Don’t worry. We aren’t up here for long. Mid-April brings a chance to begin landing, with a chance to touch ground in late April. The New Moon on Apr 27 at 6:31pm PDT/3:31 EDT is at 8 Taurus, the symbol is “a sleigh on land uncovered with snow”. A sleigh is a perfect landing device for the end of the eclipse period (Feb 27 - Apr 12). Lets sled into landing then having traveled a far distance. Plus, 8 Taurus is at the Vision point—offering a potent month (May) for visioning and sharing our visions.
